Job Description:
Serves as a Civil Engineer Geotechnical. Performs the work of exploration, sampling, and testing of soils and other earth materials.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare geotechnical reports during planning and design stages of civil work projects.
- Prepare memorandum of findings with recommendations for remedial action.
- Develop the laboratory test program needed to determine design parameters for the proposed project.
- Evaluate, advise, oversee, and/or direct contract work to ensure its quality and compliance with plans, design, and specifications.
- Perform site visits to ensure construction adheres to the design intent and resolve construction related issues.
- Conduct studies and develop plans, specifications, and construction requirements such as schedules, costs, labor, and materials.
Job Requirements:
