The Aero Alliance Houston Service Center provides repair and overhaul services of Aeroderivative gas turbine engines and modules.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide vendor repair support on Departure Records ( DR’s), determine overall impact against work scope
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data and findings generated for the assigned projects, consistent with shop policies and procedures
  • Recommend and advise on options to meet or exceed technical requirements while striving to achieve operational schedules and commercial contract commitments on cost and on time delivery
  • Provide leadership during critical business meetings such as CSM Work scope Hand Over, Disassembly closure (meeting owner), Test reject meetings etc.
  • Lead Engine test failure investigations Customer Technical Point of contact; when required
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy of Customer reports incoming, findings and test
  • Provide technical guidance to shop hourly personnel; participate in shop improvement action workouts as needed
  • Monitor and communicate project status, keep overall team posted of developments
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Customers, peers, Depot Support Engineers, Production team, Fulfillment Managers, customer service managers (CSM) and other functions as primary technical POC for the engine

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with proven in-depth knowledge with troubleshooting overhaul engines in the engine test preferably in key Gas turbine CTQ areas such as performance or vibration analysis
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science / Engineering in a related field (OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 8 years of Gas Turbine experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with proven in depth knowledge of overhaul of Aircraft/Industrial LM engines
