Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare written correspondence and other documents to include items for newsletters, responses to congressional inquires, reports of specialist studies, briefings, responding to inquiries from employees and other customers.
- Participate in special initiatives, studies and projects, and affirmative employment activities.
- Advise installations on regulatory compliance, other program requirements, and recommends possible alternate solutions to issues. Provide advice by using sound judgement and technical competency .
- At higher grade, provide recruitment and placement services to complex and dynamic organizations requiring wide range of professional, scientific, administrative, and highly technical positions.
- In a developing capacity, performs recruitment and placement assignments involving clerical and assistant, technical, and trade worker occupations.
- Provide recruitment and placement, and affirmative employment advisory services, provides advice on most productive recruitment strategies for filling competitive or excepted service positions.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to gather and analyze facts, draw conclusions from information, and communicate information clearly, orally and in writing.
- Skill in applying principles, provisions, laws, regulations, practices, and techniques of staffing and recruitment.
- Skill in troubleshooting and resolving the most difficult problems associated with providing comprehensive recruitment and placement advisory services.
- Knowledge of Federal Human Resources (HR) affirmative employment, recruitment, and placement principles, policies, practices, methods, and analytical techniques.
- Knowledge of other HR processes sufficient to relate recruitment and placement issues to them.
