Under general supervision, performs technical and administrative staff assistance for operations and procedures within the emergency planning unit; prepares and maintains reports associated with district emergency operations plan, mutual aid operations, relief, recovery, mitigation and preparedness programs; maintains activity calendar; processes invoices; participates in planning of disaster response training and meetings. Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school equivalency with supplemental college courses in business, computer, administration of justice, emergency medical services, fire technology, medical assistant and three years of increasingly responsible and complex clerical experience relating to regulatory, emergency management or emergency preparedness.
- A valid driver’s license issued by the State of California, Department of Motor Vehicles is required.
