Job Description:
Typically reporting to an Information Technology Project Manager I, incumbents in the Principal Technology Analyst class partner with managers to develop a deep understanding of organizational functions in order to support complex technology projects that automate court operational and administrative processes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Leads or participates in multidisciplinary project teams to advance court technology initiatives; when assigned as a team lead, plans, organizes, directs and assesses work of team members to ensure compliance with Court policies and procedures and overall project plans.
- Using Agile development methods, designs, plans, coordinates and administers activities to support complex technology initiatives and develop recommendations for new ways of using technology to improve court services and processes; analyzes and assesses the impact of configuration and business process changes in an integrated system; conceptualizes and formulates potential solutions or modifications including system/application design, user interface, and functionality.
- Prepares and presents information and findings in appropriate formats for their intended audience, including reports, summaries, and presentations.
- Performs research, analyzes information and processes, assesses alternatives, conducts cost/benefit and resource requirement analyses, and formulates conclusions and recommendations for management consideration; uses data analytics solutions to facilitate data-driven decision making.
- Gathers, organizes and documents operational requirements and needs from a variety of stakeholders, including executives and senior managers.
- Consults with CTS managers, developers, analysts, integration partners/vendors and product support teams to identify, troubleshoot and resolve complex technology problems and issues; provides technical assistance to CTS and other court staff and coaches employees to make effective use of technology and technical information;
- Serves as the key contact and primary liaison between system users and technical staff in areas of expertise.
Job Requirements:
- Experience running test automation, performance/load testing.
- Experience using SQL.
- Experience using Power BI, DAX, and/or Excel functions such as formulas, PivotTables, and Charts.
- Experience conducting research and/or statistical studies to support business decision making
- Hands on experience with Business Systems.
- Hands on experience in configuring case management systems.
- Experience working with business users to document current business requirements or improved workflows.
- Experience with IT Systems Management (ITSM), Enterprise Service Management (ESM), or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills conveying technical requirements to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
