About the job


Performs production and engineering tasks under close supervision or working from detailed procedures.


  1. Assemble and builds medical devices in a production environment including packaging in a cleanroom environment.
  2. Assemble, build and test prototype medical devices working with engineering.
  3. Accurately complete paperwork and maintain device traceability records
  4. May prepare test specimens and operate general equipment of little complexity.
  5. Work follows established guidelines and precedents and guidance is obtained from engineers or supervisor regarding problems.
  6. Working overtime may be required for this position.
  7. Performs other duties and tasks as required.

  • Education equivalent to a High School Diploma with one year of previous technician experience or equivalence.

  • Knowledge of various tooling and testing equipment.
  • Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.


  • Assembling small component medical devices
  • Use of basic measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers
  • Use of microscopes and small tools such as tweezers, cutters and screwdrivers
  • Record component information on work travelers, perform maintenance/computations/data plotting/simple curve and graph drawing
  • Test specimen preparation/general equipment operation
  • Basic computer skills
