Job Description:
The Badging Specialist position reports to the Operations Department and is responsible for the daily airport security badge, parking pass/permit, and fuel permit credentialing processes. Specific duties include:
Job Responsibilities:
- Receives applications, verifies documents, processes fingerprints, adjudicates cases, issues permits, passes, badges, and conducts audits.
- Performs regulatory and administrative duties, which include: making photocopies; faxing documents; record checks; maintaining daily logs; filing; scheduling employee activities and meetings; and maintaining supplies and inventories.
- Prepares, processes, and distributes a variety of correspondence, reports, information, paperwork, invoices, forms, or related information; maintains records and databases; and prepares standard reports.
- Communicates with Federal, State and local department representatives.
- Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent and three (3) years of administrative/clerical experience or security/law enforcement experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation.
