The Children & Family Services Department provides or accesses a wide range of services for deprived children and their families. The primary responsibility of this position (08-5681) is to provide wraparound case management services for families with children in foster care or at risk of foster care placement.
This position requires frequent travel throughout the Bismarck/Burleigh County area.
Providing crisis intervention and emergency services; Participating in an on-call emergency services after-hours rotation.
Implementing foster care / in-home case management services and related court activity.
Using identified skills and knowledge of families to promote reunification and/or to keep the family together.
Formulating a family service plan with help of the family and other community partners.
Attending trainings and staff development opportunities; Maintaining a working knowledge of applicable laws, policies, and regulations relating to child welfare services.
Maintaining case management documentation and appropriate recording of activity records.
Facilitating for the wraparound team and implementing coordinated intervention for assigned families.
Candidates must successfully complete a standard background and criminal record check.
Candidates must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record, a reliable vehicle for transportation, and adequate auto insurance coverage.

Qualification & Experience:
- A master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience working with children and families in high risk environments.
