Job Description:

As a Program Specialist at the GS-0301-13, you will be part of Healthcare and Insurance, Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will be responsible for extensive operational ,analytical, and systems support; policy development and implementation; and stakeholder outreach and education for programs administered by Healthcare and Insurance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development, testing, deployment, enhancement, and maintenance of systems that support HI’s insurance program operations, including applications for participation, Open Season, contract management, and disputed claims processes.
  • Draft and review proposals, statements of work, functional requirements documentation, and technical documents packages concerning HI systems for accuracy and completeness.
  • Delineate and manage complex data transfer protocols and timelines.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for special projects or cross-functional teams.
