Job Description:
As a Supervisory Continuity Program Specialist at the GS-0301-14, you will be part of FSEM Emergency Management, Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will be responsible for technical expert/authority on Homeland Security and national security programs and issues within OPM and will serve as the agency’s point of contact with other Federal agencies and in government-wide meetings and committees on emergency planning, national security, and continuity issues.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership in developing, maintaining and improving the capabilities of the OPM continuity programs.
- Serves as the agency subject matter expert and technical point of contact on all continuity and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issues.
- Initiates and issues high level threat notifications to all parties.
- Represents the OPM Director at government-wide meetings, committees and groups.
Job Requirements:
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service
- Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to stand for long periods of time, climb stairs, drive a motor vehicle, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National
- Complete the initial online assessment and USAHire Assessment, if required
- Suitable for Federal employment, determined by a background investigation
- May be required to successfully complete a probationary period
