Job Responsibilities:
- Project Management Provides technical oversight for projects and studies in the compliance and improvement of the RIM program and processes; conducts meetings with department managers and site representatives to review potential operational changes and related record needs; identifies and implements process improvements based on industry best practices; conducts briefings and prepares reports to keep managers informed of project plans and progress and to communicate program status, issues, and recommendations.
- Records Information Management (RIM) Program Administration Administers segments of the Records Information Management (RIM) program in alignment with PGE’s business needs and initiatives; assesses and implements RIM practices to ensure they support company policy and comply with rules and regulations of the Oregon Public Utility Commission, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and all other applicable laws, rules, and regulations relating to records management; collaborates with business-unit leaders to ensure they comply with RIM best practices and their obligations under this policy.
Job Requirements:
- Intermediate knowledge of PGE’s RIM program, operations, and structure
- Intermediate knowledge of records management laws, regulations, rules, policies, and procedures
- Intermediate knowledge of business process improvement procedures, practices, and standards
- Intermediate knowledge of the principles and concepts of information governance, best practices, and industry trends
- Working knowledge of project management methodologies
- Working knowledge of the electric utility industry rules and regulations
- Intermediate computer skills using electronic record systems and Microsoft Office
