Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring application environments are accessible to our partners to execute software improvements and coordinate schedules for backups with the Technology team as required.
- Actively manage 3rd party vendor relationships
- Manage and implement application configurations and administrative setup configurations in the application as required.
- Work with the business and technical stakeholders to drive product releases.
- Partner with business subject matter experts to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for capabilities.
- Maintain a balance between immediate business needs/priorities and strategic goals for the product and the related data
- Work with the business and technical team to create and execute plans for delivering application releases and upgrades.
- Analyze new requests to ensure a good fit with the broader vision and long-term maintainability of the product.
- Coordinate and execute user acceptance testing and share feedback with 3rd party vendor, follow up on resolutions of bug fixes/enhancements prior application releases and upgrades.
- Track, manage and help implement support fixes, system improvements and upgrades.
- Gather, manage, and prioritize the product backlog.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience software development
- Experience with Product Roadmap development and influencing key stakeholders for buy-in on business priorities
- Innovation driven thought leader, influencing stakeholders to adopt new vision for new or existing software system
- 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst on complex custom software development projects
- Strong experience providing business and systems analysis, systems design, and working with developers
- Solid project management experience and the ability to communicate effectively and manage risk
- Knowledge of software development life cycle models including knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles
- Experience managing 3rd party vendor relationships and contracts/commercials
- Strong technical background enabling you to provide credible leadership to development teams and accurately evaluate complex project risks and issues.
